Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowl

The most delicious summer breakfast, snack or dessert.
This smoothie bowl is packed with antioxidants and fibre and is a delicious refreshing meal or snack.
This super simple bowl takes less then 5 minutes to put together so its a perfect meal for a busy schedule and can even be made into a smoothie to take on the run.
1-2 x frozen bananas
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries + extra for topping
1 TBSP chia seeds
1 TSP vanilla essence
1 TBSP nut butter (peanut or almond is my fave!)
1/4 cup milk of choice (I use almond or cashew)
2 TSP honey or maple syrup (optional for on top after)
Shredded coconut for topping
Nuts of choice for topping
Buckinis for crunch on top
My first step when making a smoothie bowl is ALWAYS to put my bowl in the freezer or fridge, this means when I add my smoothie mixture to it, it doesn't melt in 3 seconds.
In a high power blender add your frozen banana, berries, chia seeds, vanilla essence, and milk (if making a regular smoothie add 1/2 cup milk and nut butter).
Blend until smooth and creamy, if the mixture doesn't blend properly add a little more milk (be careful not to add too much).
Transfer smoothie mixture to your bowl and top with more frozen (or fresh) berries, banana, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, shredded coconut, nuts and buckinis.
